Anthony was a tap & street jazz dancer in “Sea of Chefs”, an industrial produced by Creative Streak Entertainment! This event was produced to commemorate the opening of the Tin Building by Jean-Georges.

Anthony played Joe Pesci in Jersey Boys at Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre!
Anthony received a review! “The entire ensemble…was always in the moment and really fleshed out the little world of the musical. Some of the outstanding performances featured were [as follows]…Anthony de Marte provides some levity as Joe Pesci (yes, THAT Joe Pesci) who played a key role in the formation of the Four Seasons.” Read the whole review here!

Anthony was the program director and head director/choreographer of KJK Productions’ Summer 2021 Theatre Camp! The camp produced “Disney’s Descendants: The Musical” and “Frozen, Jr.” for children ages 6-14, and “Legally Blonde, Jr.” for children ages 12 & up.

Anthony choreographed and performed in a tap dance video with Marie DiNorcia for “The Muhlenberg Special”, a virtual fundraiser to benefit Muhlenberg College students financially impacted by COVID-19. Check out the video to your right!
Anthony collaborated with Rebecca Phillips on a short tap combination that they choreographed and performed for Bailey and Tom’s weekly quarantine cover series!

Anthony presented “Plain Gold Ring” as a part of the JCE Jazz Dance Project at the Salvatore Capezio Theatre at Peridance! The performance was held by Jazz Choreography Enterprises, Inc.
The reviews are in! “The dancers in Anthony de Marte’s “Plain Gold Ring,” too, imbued the piece with a coolly detached feel through their purposeful steps; while the piece was full of expansive turns and leaps, it was the smaller movements, like stylized walks, hip isolations, and hand movements, that truly brought it to life.” - Alison Durkee. "Still Here", a filmic tribute to survivors of sexual assault and abuse that Anthony was an extra in, was screened as a part of NewFilmmakers New York’s Fall 2018 series.

Anthony was a performer at The School at Jacob's Pillow to participate in their Musical Theatre Dance Program under the direction of Chet Walker. At Jacob's Pillow, he worked on developing a new musical called "Boy on the Roof", being created by collaborators Director/Choreographer Chet Walker, Playwright Shaun McKenna, and Composer/Lyricist Stephen Schwartz.

Anthony worked as a teaching artist for KJK Productions in Northern Westchester, New York for their summer theatre camp. He co-directed and choreographed productions of "Mary Poppins, Jr.", "All Shook Up", and "13: the Musical".

Anthony performed in the company of Muhlenberg Summer Music Theatre's production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" as the Carpet/Ensemble! He was also the dance captain of the production.

Anthony graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and Dance!
"Indigo Hour" was featured in the New York performance of "We Move On", a concert of works produced, choreographed, and performed by current and former students of the Muhlenberg dance program. The concert was held at Triskelion Arts in Brooklyn.
Anthony was a featured dancer in "Still Here", a filmic tribute to survivors of sexual assault and abuse. The film was produced and directed by Rebecca Phillips.

April 2018
Anthony collaborated with a cast of seven dancers to create a theatre jazz piece entitled “Indigo Hour”. The piece explores the presence and isolation of routine and the freedom one can find when they embrace breath and community in their everyday lives. Set to Dave Brubeck’s classic standard “Blue Rondo à la Turk”, this piece premiered at Muhlenberg College on Sunday, April 28th as a part of "We Move On", a concert of works produced, choreographed, and performed by graduating senior dancers.

Anthony performed in a featured duet entitled "Between", choreographed by Randall Anthony Smith, as a company member in "It Only Happens Once...Yesterday and Tomorrow", choreographed by Tiffany Mills, and a company member in a tap piece entitled "On the Precipice", choreographed by Shelley Oliver. The pieces were featured in Master Choreographers, a night of dance works created by faculty members of Muhlenberg College and guest artists.
November 2017
Anthony performed as a soloist in "Cloudy Sunsets in the Teatrino", choreographed by Alison Calamoneri. The piece was featured in Moving Stories, a concert featuring the works of advanced student choreographers.
